Eye Tests
Regular eye examinations are recommended
- We suggest all adults should have their eyes checked at least every two years.
- A routine eye test takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
- Eye consultations include a thorough analysis of your vision and assessment of the general health of the eye.
- Most eye exams can be bulk billed through Medicare.
- For patients with family histories of diseases like glaucoma, diabetes and macula degeneration regular eye examinations are imperative. Conditions such as cataract can de detected and addressed.
- Common eye conditions like myopia (short-sighted), hyperopia (long-sighted) and astigmatism (distortion) can be detected. These visual errors can cause symptoms such as blur, headaches, eyestrain, tired eyes and loss of concentration.
- Glasses and contact lenses can address these symptoms, and make you comfortable again.
